For the 15th anniversary of the Metro video game franchise, a post-apocalyptic saga born from the novels of Dmitry Glukhovsky, 4A Games and Deep Silver (PLAION’s publishing label) wanted to celebrate Metro’s creators and community. The challenge was to encapsulate 15 years of a beloved complex narrative driven universe within a 4 minute video.

This video evokes the emotions and memories that Metro has instilled in players over the years through the use of gameplay sequences, extracts from influencers (prioritising the love for the games) and the use of the iconic music. The legendary creators of the saga were also included in the video for a more personal thank you message. The result is an immersive and emotionally resonant cinematic experience that finds emotional touchpoints to gather the community around.

This video is a heartfelt love letter to the Metro saga that received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the community.
