Not only do you need to deliver something fresh and visually compelling, you also have the responsibility of staying true to a brand that fans around the world already know and love.
The Layer team embraced that challenge while developing the Invincible Vs. gameplay trailer. Our goal was to seamlessly blend animation and gameplay, creating a cohesive viewing experience that felt both cinematic and authentic to the game itself. Crafting a standout opening for a genre as crowded as fighting games was no small task, so we focused on weaving gameplay and narrative together in a way that reinforced the strength of the property.
The response spoke for itself: following the trailer’s debut, the surge of views and wishlists was so overwhelming that the game’s website temporarily crashed - an exciting testament to the impact of the launch.
