King of Avalon: Orlando The Nightshard

King of Avalon, the fantasy mobile game published by leading mobile game developer FunPlus, introduced a new storyline revolving around one of their newest characters Orlando the Nightshard, the playable character modeled after Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom. In addition to joining the game’s heroic character, Orlando the Nightshard’s release back in June 2022, was accompanied with an epic live-action teaser and the full-length trailer a month later that features Bloom portraying Nightshard.

Since the release of the trailer that showcased Orlando Bloom’s character in action many milestone moments followed, including a Silver Clio Award for FunPlus. The collaboration proved to be successful, as not only nearly two million new players registered for the game but more than four million players took part in Orlando’s in-game story: The Ballad of Orlando.
