To bring the world of Starship Troopers into the realm of first-person shooters, we at Offworld made it our mission to create a trailer that's as bombastic as the the game itself. Starship Troopers: Extermination boasts fast, frenetic action, which is why we enlisted the help of Scorpions' Rock You Like A Hurricane. The beloved '80s hard rock anthem is a perfect match for Extermination's energy, so it was a no-brainer to include it in our announcement trailer.
In the trailer, we wanted to showcase Starship Troopers: Extermination's key pillars while showing off high-energy moments. Considering the satirical universe of the '90s movie, our trailer takes the framing of a Trooper recruitment video. It's reached more than 6-million views, and players all over the world have shown their enthusiasm with "I'm doing my part!" comments and the like.
