Last year, Scopely, the #1 mobile game maker in the U.S., launched “Friendship Pays,” MONOPOLY GO!’s first-ever global brand campaign, bringing the game’s exhilarating, social experience to life with an all-star cast. Anchored by Will Ferrell as the voice of the legendary Mr. Monopoly, the campaign features Jason Momoa, Keke Palmer, and Chris Pratt as they embark on a high-stakes, action-packed adventure through the fantastical world of GOville—where friendships are tested, fortunes are won (and stolen), and every roll of the dice sparks new rivalries.
Designed as a long-term creative concept, “Friendship Pays” marks the beginning of multiple marketing campaigns with Ferrell continuing to lend his signature comedic charm to Mr. Monopoly. The first installment introduces Momoa aka “Momoney,” Palmer aka “Keke GoGo,” and Pratt aka “Extra Chrispy”, each fully immersed in a dreamlike fusion of reality and MONOPOLY GO!’s dynamic universe. The campaign captures the emotional rollercoaster of the game—where teamwork is key, but so is a little mischievous competition.
Launched across TV, digital, social, and streaming platforms, the campaign includes 20+ original videos, two 45-second TV spots, and was created in partnership with Omelet and directed by Henry Scholfield.
