We partnered with Funcom to handle the creative assets for the paid media launch campaign of Dune: Awakening, a game set to bring one of the most iconic sci-fi worlds to life for a new generation. Our mission was to tap into community codes and platform habits, spicing up the paid media campaign to make it feel native and engaging.
Our challenge was clear: leverage existing brand materials;including trailers and key visuals, and transform them into fit-for-platform, thumb-stopping creative executions that could cut through the noise, drive engagement, and ultimately invite gamers into the immersive world of Dune: Awakening.
We reimagined the assets across a vast mix of platforms: TikTok interactive stories, Reddit free-form ads, Twitch Mirror-C, homepage takeovers, interactive HTML units, YouTube Mastheads, and Connected TV. Every touchpoint became a new way to invite audiences deeper into the story, creating a vast targeted campaign to reach the players.
The result was an iconic launch worthy of a game as bold as Dune: Awakening. By blending creative strategy, agile production, and deep platform expertise, we built anticipation and excitement, preparing both longtime fans and newcomers to claim their place on Arrakis.
